RAF Disarmament of the Nazi Luftwaffe 1945-48. Chris Rogers's lecture illuminates a little-known RAF role by focusing on Hamburg, the Baltic coast and the secret proving ground at Lübeck.

It specialised in developing seaplanes and flying boats having originated for the development of the Third Reich’s first carrier air wing.
Prototype land-based aircraft were also trialled there. Captured examples were taken back to England, where they were flown by famed RN test pilot Eric ‘Winkle’ Brown.
