Lost Lady Society presents 'The Saviour'

The Saviour is a heartfelt and hilarious new play with songs from Lost Lady Society.

The show has been cooked up through collaboration with the Yeovil community. Set in a struggling family-run chip shop that faces an unexpected crisis — no potatoes!

Diving into the chaos that ensues through potato-gate, the show looks at resilience, marginalisation, and the strength of rural communities. Through the lens of a family business on the brink, the play reflects the feelings of isolation that many in Yeovil and similar towns feel. all with a side of witty west country banter.

With nearly half of Somerset’s population living in rural areas and a significant portion aged over 65, The Saviour sheds light and on the unique challenges faced by these often-overlooked groups. It’s funny because it’s true!
