Ilminster participates in the world’s biggest coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. The event takes place at The Archie Gooch Pavilion on Canal Way on Saturday, September 25th, 9.30 am to midday.

There will be a cake and jam stall, bring and buy, book stall, bric-a-brac, and a bag ‘n box stall.

In addition, a raffle for which tickets are now on sale at Cottage Flowers. Angie Blackwell will again be providing a cake delivery service for a donation to raise extra funds – contact 01460 53020 to place your order.

The event is organised by former Mayor of Ilminster, Julie Fowler, Angie Blackwell from Cottage Flowers and Glenys Whaites and Shirley Farley from Ilminster Lions.

The organisers are delighted with the support the event has received from the community, local businesses, and voluntary organisations.

Julie Fowler says “Our target is to raise £2500 and I am sure that, with the addition of Angie’s cake delivery service, we will be able to achieve this.”
