Come and join us on April 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM (BST) for a fun and relaxed morning at Chard Reservoir - Oaklands Avenue. This event is perfect for those looking to connect, enjoy nature, and have a great time outdoors.

We will be focusing the walk on seeing what waterbirds are around and going into the hide. Helen will be guiding you through the 5k circular walk and pointing out birds and their calls. Do not worry, there’s a loo halfway around.

The ground is mainly flat. Walking footwear is best, and please wear weather-appropriate clothing.

Don’t miss out on meeting fabulous like-minded people in a beautiful spot! If you have some binoculars, please bring them along. We will have some to lend out. Unfortunately, although we love your furry friends, the wildlife does not always feel the same. We ask you politely to keep dogs at home (except guide dogs)
