      Drivers who tow caravans are being told to fit mirrors that give them a view that is wider than their vehicle. Drivers should be able to see clearly an area that is four metres wide from the side of a caravan. If not, they are at risk of being on the road illegally.

      The Yeovil Refresh scheme will see public spaces in the town centre transformed with a water feature, wider pavements, the pedestrianisation of the Borough, a bus gate, and an amphitheater and outdoor TV screen in Lower Middle Street.

      It is hoped that the site currently housing public conveniences at Millbrook Gardens in Castle Cary could be redeveloped into space where local shops can donate soon-to-be out-of-date food.
