Cantamus Chamber Choir Spring Concert

Join us under Concorde for an evening of lively and contemplative seasonal music with the Cantamus Chamber Choir.

Cantamus is a chamber choir made up of experienced singers whose aim is to perform the very best sacred, secular and consort music to audiences across the region. Audiences have praised the choir’s tone, blend and musicality, as well as their imaginative and thoughtful programming. Concerts typically span five or six centuries of song writing and include a variety of short pieces and songs rather than one major work.

Last year Cantamus was fortunate to secure Peter Nardone as its musical director. Peter is a professional choral director, organist, composer and singer who has been director of music at Chelmsford and Worcester cathedrals as well as artistic director of the Three Choirs Festival. As a conductor he has also worked with The King’s Consort, the Philharmonia and the Worcester Festival Choral Society. Cantamus has performed several of his original works and arrangements of existing pieces.

Tea and Coffee will be provided during an interval.

Doors open 6.30 for 7.00 start.

Cantamus Chamber Choir Tickets are £10 per person.

Tickets do not include day entrance to the museum.
