Classic Cars & Supercars

A host of attractions includes over 1,500 private classic and supercars on display, motor clubs and trade stands, an autojumble, a craft fair, and a catering village. This classic car show attracts visitors from around Dorset, Somerset and the wider West Country.

Special displays showcase Supercars, American cars, Rally and Race cars, Hot rods and Custom cars. The marque being celebrated in 2025 is Lamborghini's 60th anniversary.

The venue could not be better, as Sherborne Castle, built by Sir Walter Raleigh in 1594, sits beside a 50-acre lake and 30 acres of gardens designed by Capability Brown, forming a dramatic backdrop to this awe-inspiring show.  It has been the home of the Digby family since 1617, and we can stage this event with the kind permission of the Wingfield-Digby family, who are also Presidents of the Show.  Across the lake stands the ruin of the Old Castle, built by the Normans in the 12th century and falling to Cromwell in 1646 during the Civil War, since when it has remained a noble ruin.
