This new exhibition is held within bright rooms of this new space designed with an easy flow, allowing visitors to walk through and take in each artist's work one by one. The layout offers plenty of room to showcase everything from small, intimate pieces to large-scale works.
Visitors can expect something for everyone, with a programme that goes beyond simply viewing artwork on a wall.
    Highlights of the Exhibition include:
Meet the Artists - visitors will have the chance to speak directly with the eight exhibiting artists about their work and creative process
Live Demonstrations - artists will be on hand to share their techniques in person
Interactive Element - as part of Cultural Connections, visitors are invited to take part in the creation of What Binds Us, a Communal Tapestry, choosing and weaving in a thread of their choice.
"Every thread is a story," says Rachel Watkins. "By the end of the exhibition, this tapestry will be made entirely from the choices of everyone who visited."

    The exhibiting artists include:
Cath Shellswell - vibrant prints inspired by nature and historic cultures
Lynne Mackay - muted shades in acrylic evoking Somerset Levels tranquility
Rachel Byles - drawings and paintings responding to local light and landscape
Phil Dudman - Somerset landscapes, bird drawings, and Celtic-inspired images
Tilly Willis - landscapes, still life, portraits, travel paintings, mainly Africa
Sarah Thompson-Engels - large-scale paintings celebrating seductive edibles and botanicals
Christine Rowson - nature-inspired art on an eclectic, eye-catching journey
Rachel Watkins - wild local land and seascapes in tactile, colourful textiles

"There's such a variety on offer, in a warm and welcoming space," said Lynne Mackay. "We can't wait to talk to visitors about the inspiration and meaning behind our work, as well as hear what they think. It's shaping up to be a real celebration of local creativity."
