Somerton's Christmas Light Switch on Extravaganza culminates with the lights being switched on at 5 pm.

Town centre shops will be open. Support your local independents for your gift buying this Christmas.

West Street will be closed to traffic.

This year the main street through the town, (West Street), will be closed to traffic from Market Place to the exit of Cox’s Yard car park, creating a safe space to browse the outdoor stalls and pop in to our independent shops.
