Steam Trains & Easter Bunny

Easter weekend. There is no need to book tickets for this event.

The Easter Bunny (Peter Rabbit) will regularly appear during the weekend.

An Easter Egg trail will take you to various locations around our site. Easter chocolate is given as prizes while stocks last.

On both days, we will be operating our on-site steam engine ‘Pectin’ to give train rides along the 1/3rd mile of the ex-Great Western Railway Clifton Maybank branch. Passengers travel in historic brake van vehicles or coach. Coach is accessible via a ramp for standard-size wheelchairs and other users.

Trains run every 20 minutes (except for a lunch break) and visitors can enjoy unlimited trips on the day as well as on the Miniature Railway.

Other planned attractions include a Shop, Light Refreshments, a Model Railway and exhibits and displays (including demonstrations of the turntable).

Admission (including Steam Train and Miniature Railway rides) £12.50 per adult, £6.00 per child (aged 5-15), whilst children 4 and under are admitted free. One Child (aged 5-15) is admitted FREE with a full-paying adult. Gates open at 10.30 am and train rides start at 11 am. Last admission 3.20 pm. With last train at 3.30 pm. Members are also admitted free.
