Steam Train Day + STEAMPUNK using ‘Pectin’ to give train rides along the 1/3rd mile of the ex-Great Western Railway Clifton Maybank branch. Passengers travel in historic brake van vehicles or coaches. The coach is accessible via a ramp for standard-size wheelchairs and other users.

Trains run every 20 minutes (except for a lunch break), and visitors can enjoy unlimited trips on the day as well as on the Miniature Railway.

Steam Train rides (from Platform) at

11.00, 11.20, 11.40, 12.00, 12.20.

Break for lunch (Miniature Railway continues to operate)

New for 2026 - Ride in our open 19th Century inspired "parliamentary wagon

Various entertainment though out the day.

Other planned attractions include a Shop, Light Refreshments, Model Railway and exhibits and displays.

Admission (including Steam Train and Miniature Railway rides) £13 per adult, £6.50 per child (aged 5-15) whilst children 4 and under are admitted free. One Child (aged 5-15) is admitted FREE with a full-paying adult. (Gates open at 10.30 am and train rides start at 11 am. Last admission 3.20 pm. Last train at 3.30 pm. Close at 4pm. Members are also admitted free.
