Mumpfest 2026 is set to bring the community together for a unique celebration of regenerative farming, local food, music and community spirit — with the future of our local food system at its heart.
The festival has been created to raise awareness of our regenerative no-dig market garden, where we grow seasonal, nutrient-rich vegetables without chemical fertilisers or pesticides, while working with the soil and nature rather than against it.
We want people to understand why how and where our food is grown matters — and to encourage more of our community to support local growers, farmers and producers by buying food directly from them which are small batch amazing quality and taste.
Our farm shop and veg box scheme give local people the opportunity to buy freshly grown vegetables from our market garden, alongside a fantastic selection of local cheeses and other produce from nearby independent producers. By choosing local, customers are helping to keep money within the local economy while supporting a more resilient and sustainable food system.
Mumpfest will help us continue developing the market garden and expanding our work with the community, including future events, school projects and opportunities for people to learn more about growing, food and the environment.
But this is also a festival — a chance to come together, have fun and celebrate everything that makes our community special.
The day will feature live music, circus cabaret, great food and local businesses, with performances from Moulin Bouge Circus Cabaret ,Animal Krackers, , Severn Kollectiv, King Dinosaur, Sam Ballentine & The Whiskies and Ethan King.
Food – Blackberry & Bay Events - Saluting the traditional while offering something a bit more modern, with a locally sourced, sustainable and ethical focus. Fiamma Pizza local wood fired pizza maker – with a “special THE MUMP “ piza with all our veg . Sri-licious Sir Lankan Food Somerset chef with the Mump vegetables.
Blackberry & Bay will be offering their take on a chilled Summer BBQ at the Harvest Festival at The Mump Market Garden, vegans and veggies won’t be overlooked either,
