The David Hall in South Petherton will be adding an extra attraction for its supporters when, on Sunday 25th July, it will hold its first Wedding Fayre and Fashion Show.

Petherton Arts Trust, which owns and runs The David Hall, is in the process of applying for a License to hold Civil Marriage Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships in its iconic premises, and the Wedding Fayre is the launchpad for this new project.

The event will run from 10 am to 4 pm. Entry is free, refreshments will be available - and the line-up of stallholders includes Angie’s Cakes2Crumbs, Bloom Lifestyle, Cottage Flowers, Deborah Johnson Photography, Hamdon Beauty Barn, Hilary’s Hats, Prima Moda Brides, South West Car Hire and Tim’s Wines.

There will be live music throughout the day and at 12.30 pm, Prima Moda Brides of Ilminster and Preview Ladies Fashion of Wincanton will present a fashion show.

“It is marvelous that The David Hall is branching out in this way and everyone is welcome for a fun afternoon,” said a member of the Wedding Team. “This event will not only focus peoples’ minds on weddings taking place in The David Hall but will also give anyone planning to get married the opportunity to visit the venue and see how perfect it is as a wedding location.”
