    Yeovil Town will be aiming to extend their run of unbeaten games to fourteen when they take on Farnborough at Huish Park tonight, kick-off 7.45 pm. The Glovers, who have won their last thirteen games in all competitions, are currently six points out in front at the top of National League South, with one game in hand.

    A popular Yeovil town centre restaurant has been put up for sale. Pizza Pasta Mondo on Westminster Street opened 13 years ago and serves authentic Italian cuisine. The business is on offer at £170.000.

    Crewkerne Museum and Heritage Centre is celebrating winning a King’s Award for Voluntary Service. The award is given to voluntary groups in recognition of their outstanding work and is equivalent to an individual being given the MBE. Crewkerne Museum and Heritage Centre is run entirely by volunteers and can be found in the Market Square in Crewkerne. 

    The former musical director of hit shows like Cats and Phantom of the Opera, Mike Stanley, has described Yeovil's Swan Theatre as "a lifeline" to the local arts scene. Mike has joined the Swan Theatre as a volunteer after leaving his role in London’s West End. 

    Chard Rotary Club is celebrating its 78th anniversary this month. The club was granted its Charter on November 7, 1945, and offers membership to anyone irrespective of age, gender, faith, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. 

    A date has been announced for voting to take place to fill a vacancy on Yeovil Town Council. The poll to nominate a councillor to represent Abbey Manor South Ward takes place on Thursday, December 14th. Nominations to stand in the election close on Friday, November 17th.
