With Carnival season approaching, the Chard Carnival Committee have announced their 4th annual Street Fayre, taking place this Saturday. There will be stalls and entertainment along Holyrood Street and into the Library car park throughout the day. The future of a popular four-star hotel and wedding venue near Chard has been ensured after the owners of 17 years sold the property last month. Hornsbury Mill was originally a nineteenth-century corn mill and retained many of its historic features after the conversion.
