Police are appealing for witnesses to a three-vehicle crash in Sherborne in which two people were seriously injured. It happened when two cars and a van collided outside the petrol station on the A30 between Sheeplands Lane and Horsecastle Lane at 3 pm on Wednesday.. It follow a decision by Somerset Council to merge 6000 properties in the Taunton area with a management company that looks after 4000 homes in Sedgemoor.
