Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault on a man in Chard. It happened close to Sainsbury’s on Bath Street on the evening of Friday, November 14th. Police say a man in his 60s fell to the ground after being pushed in the back and suffered facial cuts that needed hospital treatment. They say the suspect made off in a silver coloured car.
