The new owner of Yeovil Town Football Club has been speaking about his plans for the Club. Matthew Uggla has taken over control at Huish Park through his company, SU Glovers Ltd. He says his priority is to build the team to ensure that Yeovil stays up in the National League.
A motorist, caught driving at 122 miles per hour on the A303 near Sparkford, has appeared at Yeovil Magistrates Court. Russell Barton who pleaded guilty to the offence was fined 660 pounds and disqualified from driving for six months.
