Dr Tim Norbury is worried about the impact of the four-day stoppage, coupled with an increase in holidaymakers to Somerset, on health provision after the Easter Bank holiday weekend.
An undercover police operation into child exploitation in Somerset has revealed how taxi firms and hotels allow unidentified adults with underage children to book rooms and transport. Out of twenty-two hotels and bed and breakfast establishments checked, only three refused to take a booking from an unidentified adult with an underage child.
