    The Northern Lights were visible over Somerset last night. A new healthcare provider has been appointed to run the NHS 111 service in Somerset. Research is being carried out in Somerset into why people with early symptoms of dementia don't always come forward for diagnosis sooner and Yeovil Town are playing Altrincham in a National League fixture at Huish Park tonight.

    The Northern Lights were visible over Somerset last night. The Met Office says the rare sighting was due to the strength of a geomagnetic storm and a cloudless sky over the South West. Local astronomer, Josh Dury, says if the skies stay clear tonight, the Northern Lights could again be visible over Somerset.     A new healthcare provider has been appointed to run the NHS 111 service in Somerset. From April the social enterprise HUC will be answering non-emergency calls from a call centre based in Taunton. The organisation is in the process of recruiting to fill dozens of new staff roles to help run the service

    Research is being carried out in Somerset into why people with early symptoms of dementia don't always come forward for diagnosis sooner. The Alzheimers Society says it needs people to share their experiences of being tested to help compile an accurate picture of the current situation.

    Yeovil Town are in action tonight. They're playing Altrincham in a National League fixture at Huish Park, kick-off 7.45 pm.
