Four people have been arrested as part of an ongoing investigation into the illegal supply of prescription-only drugs in Yeovil. It follows a police search of home addresses in the town after a pharmacy's audit revealed painkillers and sedatives were missing. A variety of prescription-only medications were seized in the raids. Two men and two women were arrested and later bailed, pending further enquiries.
A Yeovil man has appeared in court in connection with two burglaries in Langport. Darren Howell of Allingham Road was released on conditional bail and will appear at Taunton Crown Court on Monday 20 May.
