Yeovil Town are mourning the passing of former-manager, Barry Lloyd who has died at the age of 75. Originally a Chelsea & Fulham player, he led the Yeovil team from the summer of 1978, helping them compete in the Somerset Premier Cup. Yeovil Town have issued a statement, recognising his contribution to lower-league football and described Lloyd as being remembered fondly by supporters and colleagues alike.
As the UK marks 30 years of organ donation this year, the NHS in Somerset is urging more people to come forward and opt in to being an organ donor. 15 people received organ transplants last year but many remain on the waiting list.

Arturo Fanconi was a baker before the conflict and he died in 1944 in Normandy after rescuing soldiers from a minefield. The award was presented posthumously.
