    First Bus has announced changes to bus timetables on routes across Somerset. The new running times take effect beginning Sunday, April 5th, with the addition of new routes and departure times. Two services in our area, the 375 and 376 to Bridgwater and Yeovil, will run at different times from April.

    A Somerset drone company is celebrating getting through the audition round of ITV’s Britain's Got Talent. The display by Celestial Drones took the judges outside the studio to watch a Great Britain-themed light show. 

    A Somerset ski and snowboard centre says the winter Olympics are inspiring people to try winter sports. The Mendip Activity Centre says it's seen a "huge spike in interest" with lessons sold out during the February half-term school holidays. 

    Police in Somerset are seeking witnesses to a crash on the M5. The collision between a black Vauxhall Insignia and a blue Honda Accord happened at around 8 pm on Saturday, February 14th, on the northbound section between junctions 25 and 24. Police are keen to speak with motorists who were in lane three of the M5 in the moments before the accident.

    A Somerset-based charity working to end homelessness is marking its 50th anniversary. Formed in Taunton in 1976, ARC supports people experiencing housing insecurity and is staging a year-long programme of events to highlight its good work.

    A public footpath in South Somerset is set to remain closed for up to two years. The path linking Norton-sub-Hamdon to Little Norton was shut in August following a landslip. Somerset Council says it has no immediate plans to carry out repairs and the path will stay closed until at least August 2028.
