The South Western Ambulance Service is one of the worst-performing ambulance trusts in England, according to new data. The figures for November last year show that Somerset had the worst ambulance response times in the South West.
Plans to introduce improved accessibility at Yeovil Junction station have moved a step closer. Disabled passengers, older travellers and parents with pushchairs have complained that the station is difficult to access. Following a review, step-free access at Yeovil Junction will be introduced, funded through the government’s Access for All programme.
