It’s believed a group of investors based in Jersey will become the new owners at Huish Park.
Several schools in Somerset are set to face disruption on Thursday this week as teachers go on strike. The action’s been called by the National Education Union (NEU) in their row with the government over pay and school funding. The government said it will talk with the union if they call off the strike. The union says it will only join in with talks if there are no "pre-conditions". Ashlands First School in Crewkerne that will be fully closed.
Huish Episcopi Academy at Langport that will only be open to Years 11, 12 and 13 students.
Ilchester Community School in Ilchester that will be open to children in receipt of Free School Meals only.

It’s due to Network Rail carrying out track maintenance up to 10th March.
