    A Yeovil café has banned a group of teenagers after claims that they attempted to steal from its stock room. Pete’s Bun Shop in Abbey Manor Park is appealing to parents to take control of their children on its Facebook page and says the group involved have been banned from its premises.

    We’re being told that bus use across Somerset has gone up by twenty percent after fares have been made cheaper. Campaigners say the rates will remain lower for another twelve months at least. September is Catch A Bus Month - but there've been recent complaints about services often being affected by staff shortages

    A Yeovil care home is taking part in a walking challenge this month to raise money for Dementia UK. Kim Retter is the manager at Compton View residential home and says staff and residents are getting together to walk 30 miles in September.

    A West Coker garage is due to be turned into a dog grooming salon after Somerset Council approved the application. The building on 5 Font Lane will be used for up to five appointments a day with only one dog on the premises at any one time.

    Yeovil Town drew one all at home to Chelmsford on Saturday with Morgan Williams scoring for Yeovil. Glovers' manager, Mark Cooper thought it was a game that his side should have won with the chances they had.
