It was visited by an average of five people every day between April 2021 and March 2022, according to the Office of Rail and Road. Chetnole station on the Heart of Wessex Line between Yetminster and Maiden Newton is listed as England's 2,457th quietest railway station.
Yeovil Town’s away match against Bromley at the weekend was abandoned following the death of a spectator. The referee called off the game in the 11th minute after a medical emergency in one of the stands. In a statement, Yeovil Town thanked all supporters who assisted with the incident.
