Three HSBC branches in Somerset are to close as customer numbers using their banks continue to fall. HSBC says its branch in Minehead will close in May along with Frome and Wells in June. HSBC branches in Yeovil, Taunton and Bridgwater will stay open.
Police are continuing to investigate a coach crash near Frome and are appealing for witnesses to contact them. Around forty-five students were on board the vehicle that overturned at Oldford Hill on Monday. One student remains in hospital with potentially life-changing injuries.
