The Northern Lights were visible over Somerset last night. The Met Office says the rare sighting was due to the strength of a geomagnetic storm and a cloudless sky over the South West. Local astronomer, Josh Dury, says if the skies stay clear tonight, the Northern Lights could again be visible over Somerset.
