Yeovil Town have been relegated from the National League after losing 3-0 away to Wrexham last night. The Glovers needed to win all three points from the game to keep their hopes alive of avoiding the drop but, despite a good first-half performance, ended the night empty-handed, and have been confined to National League South football next season.
Police are investigating an incident in Chard in which a delivery driver was assaulted. He was delivering a food takeaway to an address in Avishayes Road when an argument broke out and was punched in the face. It happened at around 8.30 pm last Saturday. Anyone who witnessed the incident or heard the disturbance is asked to call the police non-emergency number 101.
