Police are investigating an incident in Chard in which a delivery driver was assaulted. He was delivering a food takeaway to an address in Avishayes Road when an argument broke out and was punched in the face. It happened at around 8.30 pm last Saturday. Anyone who witnessed the incident or heard the disturbance is asked to call the police non-emergency number 101.
