Councils in Somerset are providing warm rooms this winter to help people, unable to afford to heat their own homes, to keep warm and meet with friends.
Plans have been outlined to build 160 new homes in Templecombe. Developers, Gleeson Strategic Land Ltd, has identified a site off Bowden Road for the scheme. People who live in Templecombe are being asked to comment, ahead of a formal planning application being submitted to South Somerset District Council in the New Year.
