Avon & Somerset Police have appealed for information following a road-related incident in Yeovil. It happened at around 10.15am on Monday 15th June in Lysander Road. The victim, a man in his thirties, required hospital treatment for cuts to his arms and face. The suspect is described as white, in his mid-forties, and of muscular build, with tattoos. There’s strong support for the offer of earlier cervical screening after having a baby in the county, according to a new study. Researchers looked at the possibility of women having the test during their six-week check-up rather than at 12 weeks. Somerset NHS Foundation Trust believe it could help improve the number of women being screened.
