If the cutback is agreed, cameras in Yeovil and other towns in Somerset would be turned off, and the main control centre in Bridgwater shut down.

A Chard woman has been jailed for fourteen weeks for stealing alcohol from a supermarket in Chard. Appearing before local magistrates, Chelsea Fouracre, of Old Town, in Chard pleaded guilty to taking £1,000 worth of alcohol from Sainsbury's in Chard over nine days.
