Plans have been submitted to build sixty new homes in South Petherton. If approved the houses will be built on land off Hamsfield Lane. Developers, Persimmon Homes South West say one in three of the new properties will be social housing, run by a local housing association.

The Crown and Coronation Show launched at the Tower of London in November and can be viewed at Wells Cathedral until the weekend. The display celebrates the experience of King Charles’s Coronation and the role of the Crown Jewels.
