Changes to Somerset bus routes have been made with new stops added and times revised.
The 51 Yeovil Town Circular is being split into two separate services to help improve punctuality and make journeys more reliable for passengers.
It follows a review by First Bus of how their services across Yeovil have been running.
The changes will see the 51 split, with the re-introduction of the East Circular route, which includes stops at Asda and Larkhill.
A new 61 service will serve the West Circular route, including Cavalier Way.
At the request of passengers, new stops will be added at Tesco and Hendford Lodge Medical Centre on both the 51 and 61 services.
Commercial Director for First Bus, James Eustace, says they’re committed to delivering a bus network that people can depend on in Somerset. The changes are about making sure that services run more reliably and reflect the needs of passengers.
Changes are also being made to the Yeovil to Taunton 54 service: Journeys are being given 10 minutes of extra running time to improve timekeeping. Some minor changes are also being made to journey start times.
Updated timetables are available on the First Bus website and passengers can also plan journeys using the First Bus App.
