Choir Raises Funds for Ukraine

The YEOVILTON MILITARY WIVES CHOIR have announced that their usual bucket collection that they hold at their events, to help fund their work, will be made for the DEC APPEAL for the UKRAINE instead.

The Choir appear with the Three Degrees at Westlands next Thursday 17th March. Organisers of the concert, Rock Solid Production Events have also announced that all profits from the evening will be added to the choir’s bucket collection and hopefully see a good amount go to this worthy cause. Choir Lead Pippa Elliott said “As we have all seen the awful scenes from Ukraine the choir felt strongly that we wanted to do something to help the millions of people forced to flee their homes. It’s typically women and children who are taking this perilous trip to find safety. Our values are sing, share, support and in this spirit, we will be donating our whole collection following this performance to the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.” Tickets are still available from Westlands for what will now be a wonderful night out whilst supporting this most worthy cause.
