Radio Prize keeps Michelle tuned-in

For one lucky listener to Radio Ninesprings the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee will always be special.

To mark Her Majesty’s 70-year reign, the Yeovil-based local radio station ran a competition offering an FM/DAB Roberts Radio as the prize.

The lucky winner was Michelle Chinnock. a support worker helping adults and children with learning disabilities who lives in Street, and is an avid listener to Radio Ninesprings.

Speaking about her win Michelle said: “I’ve always loved the retro’ look of Roberts Radios but never owned one. I even got to choose the colour of my new radio - Duck Egg Blue – which was great as it matches perfectly the colour scheme in my lounge”.

Radio Ninesprings Station Manager, Steve Haigh said “We had a terrific response to the competition, and my thanks go to H. R. Hodge of South Petherton and to Wessex Internet for donating the Roberts Radio. I hope Michelle will have many years of happy listening and that she keeps listening to Radio Ninesprings”.
