Major traffic disruption is expected in Yeovil when a section of Preston Road shuts for re-surfacing later this month. One of her first jobs was to help move the beds and equipment from the old Yeovil General Hospital to the new hospital. When asked if she was planning to retire Pat replied "not quite yet".

A Crewkerne man has been found guilty of abusing an eight-year-old girl more than 55 years ago. Michael Redgrave, aged 72, of Barn Close in Crewkerne was found guilty of seven charges following a four-day trial at Exeter Crown Court. The offences were said to have taken place in Dawlish in 1967 and only came to light when a complaint was made to the Police in 2018. Judge David Evans adjourned sentencing but told Redgrave that he would be sending him to prison.

Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for the public's help to find a man wanted for failing to comply with a court order.
