There’s been a theft of high-value tools and equipment at Wincanton racecourse. Police say two John Deere lawn mowers, power tools, hedge trimmers, strimmers, and blowers, were taken on in the early hours of Tuesday this week. Crewkerne's Community Kitchen, set up during the pandemic, has moved to a new permanent base at the George Reynolds Centre in the town. Previously, it had been run from a café in Crewkerne with food items donated by local supermarkets and volunteer support from the charity, Fareshare.
